The objectives of this presentation are:
1) Describe the impact the adolescent immunization platform on today's medical practice
2) Understand the importance of adolescent vaccine preventable diseases in the community, the development of vaccines designed to prevent them and the evolving recommendations for vaccine use in that vulnerable age group.
3) Become aware of the barriers to successful adolescent immunization and the strategies proposed to overcome them.
