Julie Mills MS
Julie Mills, MS, started her career as a test engineer on the space telescope. Since then she has always been fascinated by how people perceive information and how to translate desired outcomes backwards into discrete steps - human factors was a natural choice.Mills has published papers on how language choices can cut complexity, how simple tools like PowerPoint with VBA allow rapid prototyping and distance testing. Since 1998 Julie has been a usability engineer/ designer at Datex-Ohmeda (now part of GE) working on anesthesia equipment. Julie has a Bs ChE and a masters in Industrial engineering with a focus on human factors both from UW Madison.
