John Siebert MD

Siebert graduated from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 1981. He completed his general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1986 and plastic surgery and microsurgical fellowship training at New York University School of Medicine in 1989.

He was Chief of Plastic Surgery at Bellevue Hospital and Director of Microsurgery and Replantation Services at NYU and Bellevue Hospitals. He held the academic rank of Associate Professor of Surgery at NYU. He was appointed Professor of Surgery at Univ. of Wisconsin School of Medicine in January 2007.

He has authored approximately 100 journal articles and chapters in surgical texts. He has received numerous national plastic surgical awards and is internationally regarded for his work in the esthetic microsurgical reconstruction of facial contour deformities, which is the subject of his address this morning.
