Richard Anstett PhD, MD

Dick Anstett joined the Department of Family Medicine faculty in August 1992. He came to us from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he was an associate clinical professor in the Department of Family Medicine. His credentials include a PhD in counseling psychology from Ohio State and an MD from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency in family medicine in Flemmington, New Jersey in 1989. Dick is interested in international health, and has worked in Kenya and India and recently completed an MPH in international health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Most recently, he traveled to sites in Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica for the purpose of identifying a potential training site. His other interests include gardening, sports, and biking.
