The learning objectives of this presentation are: 1. Define a clinical skill, understand the contemporary medical education challenges to clinical skills instruction and recognize the difference between imparting clinical skills vs. knowledge. 2. Identify current approaches to clinical skills education including simulation. 3. Discuss an interdisciplinary project to create a simulation tool.
