Aaron Perry

Aaron G. Perry – President of the Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association. On September 11, 2005, he became the World's 1st African-American Insulin-Dependent Diabetic to complete the Ironman Triathlon. Considered the world’s most challenging endurance competition, he has proven that with diet, exercise and a good relationship with your medical team, individuals with Diabetes can live beyond comprehension.

In 2005, he was (1) of (6) diabetics in the world to complete the Ironman Triathlon. Today there are over 900 diabetic triathletes and many have written or blogged that they were inspired by their efforts. Today, he is still the only African-American diabetic to cross the finish line, and it’s his hope to inspire others.
